For thousands of years shamans, sages, and healers of many practices understood the power of conscious breathing. It is key to radiant health, clarity of the mind, emotional well-being and spiritual fulfilment.
Lifebreath is a breathing modality that inspires a journey of self discovery. This practice of deep breathing is supported by a facilitator providing energy work, reiki, light acupressure touch and a sound healing bath with music by Inanna. Conscious breathing combined with an intention can produce a powerful effect emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
You will learn a deep breathing technique that will last about 30 minutes and then we will begin to slowly relax the breath ending with stillness. You will lie on a mat with blankets to create a comfy nest. The studio does provide a yoga mat, blanket and bolster but you may want an extra blanket, mat and whatever else that will make you more comfortable as you will be lying on the floor for about 60 minutes. There will be time for sharing and grounding. You might like to bring a journal and a bottle of water.
