Each of us beautiful souls on this planet have come to be our unique selves. However, that is so hard for some of us, partly because of outside influences that have confused our way. How do we get back to who we are and what we want to do with our lives? There are many ways but I believe the most important way is to start with asking ourselves what we love. Having just completed the Album The Beauty we Love, I spent the past two years trying to live The Beauty I love. I found myself not wanting to put any energy into negative talk but rather trying to find a way out of that and where one might find a glimmer of hope. I immersed myself in music, art and play as much as I could. I practiced gratitude and found that I am very lucky in so many ways. I can’t say there were not moments where I felt anger, emotional moments that caused tears etc. but I embraced all of life as a lesson that needed to be heard And healied. I was aware of what was going on in the news and realized my voice is best heard through the love I feel for all. That was what I wanted to focus on and make that bigger. We ALL are so special and unigue and when I finally got it that no one on this planet has what I have, or what you have, I felt the power of my creative soul. I felt the power of manifesting what was good and right. I felt the power of creating the world I want to live in. I have a game I play with my grand daughter where we throw what our world would be like if we were in charge, things like everyone has enough food, everyone gets to play, everyone get to choose there life and so on. We create very fun worlds and while you may think this is just a game what are we living in now?
Currently this event is sold out but we are taking names in case a spot becomes available. Please email Shirsten at shirsten@shirstenlundblad.com
We are offering a weeklong retreat October 18-25 at Spannocchia (www.spannocchia.org).
In the nearby city of Siena in the Palazzo Pubblico are the frescoes depicting The Allegory of Good and Bad Government. Centrally featured in the fresco of Good Government is a woman playing a tambourine surrounded by women dancing. This image is the inspiration for us offering a retreat in Italy, in these times when we need to energize and empower the reality of Good Government!
At Spannocchia we will drum, dance, practice yoga, eat good food, learn from the honeybees, take excursions, go for walks, relax, play more music, and tap into our true essence: bliss!
Space is limited to 17 participants. The price will vary depending on choice of lodging, and optional extras such as cooking classes, and extra excursions. Details to follow. Estimated cost (not including airfare) is $1550.
